Landing (Destination Terminal Handling Charge: DTHC) will be assessed on cargo moving to countries listed below unless otherwise noted. 

 

A.    Unless otherwise indicated, LTL/Breakbulk rates are per ton W, M, W/M, or MBF.  W equals 2000 pound and M equals 40 cubic feet.  

B.   On full container loads rated on the weight or measure of the commodities, the landing charge is subject to container load minimums (as specified under the commodity item),  and the maximum landing charge per container as specified for each country listed below.

C.   For Rating Purpose Only: If the landing charge of LTL cargo exceeds the landing charge of a container, the landing will be charged at the container rate. Exception: Does not apply to cargo destined for Tortola.

D.   For Barbados: All landing charges will be for the account of the consignee.  This will be billed by the local government.  

E.   For Dominica: All landing charges will be for the account of the consignee.  This will be billed by the local government.

Heavy Lift - $604 per unit
Unless otherwise stated in individual rate items, charge applies to all cargo loaded as breakbulk that weighs a minimum of 10,000 lbs but does not exceed 67,200 lbs. Charges are lieu of, and not in addition to, the Destination Terminal Handling Charges above. For breakbulk cargo exceeding 67,200 lbs the heavy equipment charge below applies in lieu of the heavy lift charge. The heavy lift charge does not apply to machinery 900 cft or greater.

Heavy Equipment - $604 per unit
Unless otherwise stated in individual rate items, charge applies to all equipment sizes types with gross weight in excess of 67,200 lbs. Charges are in lieu of, and not in addition to, the Destination Terminal Handling Charges above. For breakbulk cargo exceeding 67,200 lbs the heavy equipment charge applies in lieu of the heavy lift charge. The heavy equipment charge does not apply to machinery 900 cft or greater.
