Carrier will provide a 10% discount on Base Ocean Freight for Shipments of Accredited Relief or Charitable Organizations.
Any discounted bill of lading will be claused “For Relief Purposes, Not for Resale.” All applications for such discount must
be made in writing and are subject to approval by
the Carrier prior to booking.
1. Relief Shipments will apply only on emergency goods (i.e. food, clothing,
medical supplies, etc.), and will not include shipments such as
rebuilding / restocking supplies.
2. All request must be submitted in writing to the appropriate Trade Lane responsible for the destination port seeking the relief. The written
request must provide the name, address, telephone and fax numbers of the requesting bonafide relief agency; the agency’s or organization’s
tax exempt number, if applicable; the specific request (i.e. type and amount of cargo, which island name, address and telephone number of
consignee, etc.) and the name of the person making the request.
3. The shipment must be shipped by a non-profit
agency or organization or consigned to an non-profit agency or organization in
the destination port.
4. All cargo is subject to the terms and conditions
of this tariff.
Not applicable to cargo moving under Service Contract.

Carrier will participate in a raffle at the MOW Fair to raise money for the MOW School in Marsh Harbour, Bahamas. Carrier will donate three winning raffle tickets for two freight free shipments of 100 CFT, one freight fee shipment per raffle drawing, and one freight free shipment of 200 CFT per raffle. Raffle shipments shall only apply for cargo received and carried from Carriers Miami or West Palm Beach CFS to Carriers Marsh Harbour CFS and are inclusive of all applicable Carrier tariff charges but subject to any third party or Governmental charges that would ordinarily apply to the shipment. Raffle to be conducted on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Man O War Fair which is open to the public and Carrier has no restriction on who or how many can participate in the drawing. Raffle ticket sales will be held from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm with the drawing for the prize to be held at 4:30 pm. The winner must be present at the time of drawing to claim the prize. Proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be relinquished to the MOW School as a charitable contribution by the Carrier.
The winning bearer shall present the winning raffle ticket to the Carrier at time of shipment to redeem their prize.
