At Carrier's convenience, equipment of a type other than the type booked or requested by the Shipper or his agent may be substituted. Any equipment substituted is subject to the weight and cubic capacity of the equipment originally booked or requested.

When multiple containers are substituted for a single container (ie: 2 x 20’ containers for a 40’ container) the following restrictions shall apply:

1) Cargo must be from one shipper to one consignee.

2) All units must appear on the same Bill of Lading and sail on the same vessel/voyage.
