At Carrier's convenience, equipment of a type other than the type booked or ordered by the Shipper or his agent may be substituted. The minimum applying on the shipment will be for the equipment ordered and will NOT affect the Carrier's rates charged or responsibility and liabilities to the Shipper or Consignee.

 

FOR TORTOLA ONLY

 

Where road access prevents use of a 40' Equipment, through no fault of the Consignee, 2 x 20' units may be substituted at the applicable 40' container rate.

 

The following restrictions apply to the substitution:

 

    1) Applies to cargo destined for Tortola, B.V.I.

    2) Cargo is from one shipper to one consignee.

    3) Both units must appear on the same Bill of Lading and sail on the same vessel voyage.

    4) Substitution will only apply to the following commodities:

            Grocery Store Merchandise

            Hotel & Restaurant Supplies

            Building Materials

            Frozen N.O.S.

 

    5) Substitution is restricted to shipments consigned to (A) Eff 12/19/2004

            A) Wickers Cay 1

            B) Long Bay
