Bills of Lading describing articles by trade name are NOT acceptable for commodity ratings. Shippers are required to describe their merchandise by its common name, to conform to merchandise description appearing herein.

Articles not specifically provided for herein will be freighted at applicable Cargo, N.O.S. rate.

Rates or ratings, unless otherwise specifically provided, will not apply on precious metals or articles made thereof.

Whenever rates are provided for articles named herein, the same rates also shall be applicable on named parts of such articles when so described on Ocean Bills of Lading, except when specific rates are provided herein for such parts.

Except as otherwise noted, all rates shown herein are for non-hazardous material (not corrosive, inflammable, toxic, or poisonous).
