To qualify for Freight All Kinds (FAK) rate, each container load of goods tendered by the Carrier shall be considered
as an individual shipment. Each shipment must, in turn, be comprised of consolidated merchandise made of component
lots, which, if shipped separately, would be considered as less than container-load quantities.
FAK rates apply when there is one Shipper and one Consignee shown on the Bill of Lading, and where the Shipper loads
the container and the Consignee unloads it.
Each shipment tendered under rates named in this rule must move to one Consignee on one Bill of Lading and must be
comprised of not less than 4 different commodities. The weight of any single commodity shall not exceed 50% of the total
weight of the mixed shipment. Shipper must furnish Carrier a list of the contents of each container upon tender of shipment and
show separately the number of packages, description of goods and gross weight of each article.
Any shipments not conforming to the provision of this rule shall be subject to the highest specific commodity rates as named
in this tariff. Forwarder's commission will not be payable on cargo rated as Freight All Kinds. If for any reason, Carrier is required
to strip cargo from the container, responsibility for additional charges incurred up to the maximum Carrier-loaded/unloaded handling
charges are for the account of the cargo.
