Bill of Lading Processing Fee  

Carrier will prepare and charge for a Bill of Lading for each shipment as follows:                           

Charge for Preparation of a Corrected Bill of Lading  

When Shipper, or its agent, requests that Carrier issue a corrected Bill of Lading to amend any entries on the B/L, Carrier will apply the following charges for the correct Bill of Lading.  This charge shall not apply if the correction is due to the fault of the Carrier. 

Charge for Preparation of FCL Consolidation/Max Freight Documentation

When the Carrier is requested to prepare Full Container Load (FCL) Consolidation or Maximum Freight Shipments, the documentation will
apply in lieu of the Bill of Lading Processing Fee. Full Container Load (FCL) Consolidations or Maximum Freight Shipments include any
number of Tallies in the documentation charge.

Unless specified otherwise this charge applies to Northbound, Southbound and Inter-isIand Cargo

Preparation of Shipper's Export Declaration

When Carrier is requested to prepare a Shippers Export Declaration (SED), in accordance with U.S. Customs Regulations, the following charges will apply:  

Shipper must provide Carrier with Exporter's Identification Number (EIN) or Social Security Number in order for the Carrier to complete an S.E.D.

Charge for Preparation of Additional SEDs for a Shipment

If Carrier is requested to prepare more than one SED for a shipment, each additional SED shall be charged as follows:  

Charge for Preparation of Shipper’s Invoice

At the request of the Shipper, Carrier will prepare the shipment’s invoice subject to the following charges:

Charge for Completion of Shipper’s Invoice

When Carrier is requested to enter additional information on an incomplete or incorrect Shipper’s Invoice, provided by the Shipper or its agent, the Carrier will charge as follows:  

Charge for Preparation of a  Phyto Sanitary Applications /Certificates

When Carrier is required to prepare a Phyto Sanitary Application, the following charges will apply:

Charge for Preparation of U.S. Customs Manipulation

Charge when Shipper/Consignee request backloading of shipper loaded container containing bonded cargo.  

Charge for Preparation or Completion of Bank Draft

Carrier will prepare a draft upon request by the Shipper or Shipper's Agent provided that the following information is supplied to the Carrier, in writing, the day before cargo is scheduled to sail:  

1. Name of Shipper

2. Name of Consignee

3. Bank name & full address  (street, city, state, island, zip)

4. Terms of Draft

5. Bill of Lading Distribution

6. Instructions to the bank

7. Amount of the Draft  

Carrier is under NO obligation or responsibility for the preparation of the draft without the information listed above. 

Charge for Processing of Documents for Letter of Credit

Completion of documents for Letter of Credit. includes:

1. Shipper's Export Declaration (SED)

2. Completion of Invoice

3. Completion of Insurance Certificate

4. Completion of Draft  

Charge for Completion of Shipper’s Letter of Collection

When Shipper, or its agent, request Carrier to enter information on a letter of collection, the following charges will apply:  

Charge for Preparation and/or Completion of Shipper’s Insurance Documents  

When Carrier is requested to prepare and/or complete a Shipper’s insurance document, the following charge will apply:  

**Exception: Carrier will add “vessel, voyage, & date” at no charge.

When Carrier is requested to create a bond, the following charge will apply:

When Carrier is requested to validate a bond, the following charge will apply:

Charge for Courier Services

At the request of the Shipper, Carrier will utilize the services of a courier subject to the following charges:  

Charge for Providing Mail Service

Carrier will provide interoffice mail service with Carrier to tenants of the Port of Palm Beach at no additional charge.
