Rule 3.4: Carrier Load Handling Charge

A. LTL commodity rates are inclusive of handling charges, receiving, warehousing and stuffing of cargo unless otherwise

specified. For certain cases, such as brokerage fees, handling charges are listed here in order to calculate the base ocean freight.

B. Breakbulk Handling: includes unloading, count, inspection for damages, banding and loading to Carrier’s equipment if

applicable. A charge of $16.00 W/M (minimum $16.00), whichever is greater, shall be calculated and/or assessed. If the handling

for Breakbulk cargo exceeds the handling of a Carrier-loaded container, the handling charged will be the Carrier-loaded rate.
 

C Full Container Load Transfer (Carrier Loaded) Containers loaded in terminal by Carrier the service shall include unloading, count,

inspection for damages, banding and loading cargo into Carrier's equipment.  

 

D.  Full Container Load Consolidation: includes unloading, count, inspection for damages, handling charges, receiving,

warehousing and stuffing of cargo unless otherwise specified throughout "Special Handling Charges". For certain cases, such as

brokerage fees, handling charges are listed here in order to calculate the base ocean freight

 

E.  Floor Loaded Cargo: Carrier will charge a fee of $25 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours,  for any cargo

that is delivered to any of Carrier's South florida LCL facility as floor loaded cargo. The charge is in addition to all other applicable charges including

Carrier Loaded Handling charges.
