Unless otherwise indicated within individual rate items or as otherwise provided for within Carrier’s tariff, a Special Handling Charge as outlined below will be assessed to shipments received at Carrier's Terminal for the cargo described herein. This charge includes gate receipt, storing the cargo/equipment at Carrier's terminal for the allowable free time, and loading the cargo/equipment onto the vessel at the port of load. The Special Handling Charge is applied in lieu of Carrier’s Origin Terminal Handling Charge (OTHC).
From the Continental U.S. to the following:
A) Motor Vehicles/Rolling Stock in operating condition

Note: Inoperable Vehicle Definition shall mean any vehicle received with one or more of the following conditions: Cracked or damaged windshield or windows, flat, missing or damaged tires, leaking fluids, deployed airbags,
unable to stay running under its own power source, out of fuel. Carrier reserves the right to reject receipt of cargo that does not meet the requirements for safe transportation and/or handling by our receiving facilities.
C) Motor Vehicles/Rolling Stock received in Running Condition but later fail to start - Vehicles received in running condition which later fail to start due to mechanical failure will receive an additional charge as follows:

Note: Applies to boats/watercrafts received or not received on cradle/trailer for land delivery/receipt only. For in/out of water delivery/receipt - regardless of size, rate is by prior arrangement in each case;
however, rate will not be less than rate for land delivery/receipt.
E) House Trailers

When large or unusual shapes are encountered, the following special handling charges will be assessed:
